It has been 8 years since my first breast cancer diagnosis, and it appears the odds have not been in my favour because the bastard is back. I have what is called a ‘locoregional recurrence’ – a new tumour in the same general area as the previous ones, in my case in one of the lymph nodes in my neck. I think this is pretty rare, and whilst it’s nice to be special, this is the kind of special I can live without. This blog represents the musings of someone with too much time on their hands, whilst allowing me to keep friends and family updated with news.
